Fuse replacement

Do not use fuses of a higher amperage
than recommended. Substitution with a
fuse that has an improper rating can cause 7
extensive electrical system damage and
possible fire. 8
If a fuse is blown, replace it with a spare fuse 9 7
of the correct amperage. If the boat is not
equipped with a spare fuse of the correct am- 1 Electronic throttle valve fuse (10 A)
perage, have a Yamaha Boat Dealer check 2 Fuel pump fuse (10 A)
and replace the fuse. 3 Main relay drive fuse (10 A)
The fuses are in 4 locations on this boat. 4 Main fuse (20 A)
5 Spare fuse (50 A)
6 Fuse puller
Starboard engine compartment (stern 7 Screw
side of the compartment) 8 BCU (SCU) fuse (50 A)
(1) While pushing both sides of the fuse box
9 Spare fuse (10 A, 20 A)
cover inward, pull the cover toward the
10 Battery fuse (50 A)
bow and remove it.
(2) Replace the blown fuse with the spare
fuse of the correct amperage by using
the fuse puller.
TIP:
1 When replacing the BCU (SCU) fuse, remove
the screws, and then remove the fuse. Install
the spare fuse, and then tighten the screws.
(3) Install the fuse box cover.
