Improper use of the ballast system can
overload the boat, causing poor handling and
increased risk of swamping.

Drain ballast completely before trailering the
boat to reduce the risk of a towing accident.
The Increased weight of ballast can cause
unsafe towing conditions due to negative
tongue weight, including decreased tow
vehicle stability and greater chance of a
runaway trailer that has come off the hitch.
