Raising the shift gates
(252SE / 252SD)
252SE: If the shift actuator malfunctions and
the shift gates remain in the lowered position,

To raise the shift gates:
(1) Stop the engines and remove the clip
from the engine shut-off switch.
(2) Open the driver’s side console compart-
ment. (See page 111.)
(3) Remove the nuts, and then remove the
shift motor cover.
