TIP:
The lids for the port and starboard wet stor- 1
age compartments are each equipped with
an interlock to shut off the engines should the
lid be accidentally opened during operation.
The engines will not start if either the port or
starboard wet storage compartment lid is not 2
securely closed.

Raising the shift gates
