Pre-operation checks
Engine shut-off switch check AR190 / SX190
Check the engine shut-off switch for proper
operation.
(1) Start the engine. (See page 117 for infor-
mation on starting the engine.)
(2) Pull the engine shut-off cord (lanyard) to
remove the clip from the engine shut-off
switch to make sure that the engine
stops immediately.
(3) Make sure that the engine cannot be
started with the clip removed from the
engine shut-off switch. TIP:

It may take up to 20 seconds for water to
reach the pilot outlet when first launching
