                                                              TIP:

                                                              If the boat battery  runs  down, the engines
                                                              can be started in an emergency using a 12-
                                                              volt booster battery and jumper cables.
                                                F             To connect the jumper cables:
                                                              (1) Connect the positive (+) terminal of the

                                                                 dead battery to the positive (+) terminal
                                                R                of the booster battery with the positive
                                                                 (+) jumper cable.
                                                              (2) Connect  one  end of the negative  (–)
                                                                 jumper cable to the negative (–) terminal
                        Turning to starboard
                                                                 of the booster battery.
                                                              (3) Connect the other end of the negative (–)
                                                                 jumper cable to an engine hanger.
                                                                 NOTICE: Be sure all connections are
